Instructions
- Line a paper filter and put it above a drainer, as it is shown in the picture below.
- Pour the yogurt into the filter. Cover and leave resting for several hours at room temperature, overnight is better. The whey will flow into the container, while the solid part remains in the sieve.
- Tie the filter with a spoon and hang it on a glass jar, so that more whey can continue dribbling. When the filter stops dripping, the cheese is ready. if you wish a creamier cheese leave more whey in it.
- Store the whey in a jar with tight-fitting lid, and cream cheese in a suitable container, add some olive oil and salt. Covered the cream cheese and store it. The liquid part is the whey, which you can drink alone or mix in others recipes.
- Keep both in refrigerator.
Conservation and Use
You can conservate the Whey and Cream cheese 1 month in the refrigerator.
