Not feminist, feminine!

This adverting poster below was a from the U.S. government in World War II (which in turn was a copy of a poster similar to the Soviet Union). Known as Rosie The Riveter [something like Rosie the Nailers], he encouraged women to go to the factories, taking the place of men, probably because they were in the war...

More than just encourage, it made use of a whole aesthetic masculinizing ... to put this woman putting "muscles" out and rolling up his sleeves, he was one of the faithful portraits of the decade, as many women who actually went to the factories during the war, could hardly be distinguished from this caricature.

The aesthetics of the period for men was only broken when Dior launched the New Look in 1947. It was a very harsh realityAnyway, these images show women in business ... this time in an activity that nothing matches the femininity!

The photo below is disgusted! Look at these women, this deplorable state ... not just seem men... but men with manners! I understand that some of them had real need to work this time, but they had to be reduced to this? It's clear that this was never the place for a woman - yesterday and today they can not occupy such "positions" without renouncing themselves.

Well, the uniform of this lady makes it clear that she do not took the clothes borrowed from her husband ... she was already using the "pants woman" ...

Check out the video with the little song that played, encouraging perfect "Rosie" ...
Fits us take a look at how things happened!
