Ingredients:
• 500 g flour for bread
• 450 ml o f water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 tsp dry yeast
• Olive oil and more for greasing the pan
• Sea salt and rosemary to sprinkle on the bread's top
Preparation:
1.Get two medium bowls.
2.In a bowl combine flour and salt
3.Dissolve the yeast in the water and pour into bowl with flour.
4.Mix the ingredients with a spoon until combined and then start to knead the dough. Knead for 5 minutes, at this point the appearance of the dough will change slightly but will remain wet and sticky .
5.Grease the other bowl with olive oil and transfer half the dough. Sprinkle the dough with olive oil and let it rest.
6. Grease the other bowl with the other half dough and let it rest aside also. Cover both bowls with a cloth. Let the dough ferment for 6 hours.
Transfer dough to greased pans with olive oil and cover with a cloth.
7. Allow to rise for another 2 hours or until doubled in size.
8. Sprinkle olive oil, sea salt and rosemary.
9. Pre heat oven to 395o. F and bake for about 20 minutes and after 5 minutes to broil.
10. Remove from oven and let cool on a rack.
Enjoy your Italian Ciabatta Bread with olive oil or butter.
