Faith, Hope and Love

..."FAITH, HOPE, LOVE;
and the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13.13).
Do you know why?
Because love CAST OUT ALL FEAR and endures FOREVER.
LOVE is eternal.

As Children...

I can remember when I was five years old the first time I picked up a flower and how I was marveled... It was a pink hibiscus. Every child has that feeling the first time they admire a flower.

May we never lose this enchantment with life that every child has. "The Kingdom of God belongs to such as children" said Jesus.

May we to be always in awe and amazement with the Lord's creation, the miracles are around us.

“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18.3)

We need to become like children again. We need to bring back the awe and excitement at the rain, the wind blowing to the tree, the beautiful flowers appearing out of the ground.

Here are a video on this very topic. Watch it and be reminded: "Stand in awe… In wonder…. Be excited about all of the miracles around you" (Emily R.).

Dwell On Beautiful Things

May we dwell on beautiful things and rejoice in the Lord:

-"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things". (Philippians 4.8)

May we do not focus on negative and impure things, complaining, gossiping and others bad stuff, but only in the honorable and beautiful.

May He bless you always!

Spring in Savannah, GA

I was so excited to see how it would be the spring in Georgia, because this is my first year here. Last year we were in NJ among the snow. My hubby had told me the spring in Savannah, the city where we moved is gorgeous.  I thought it would be just next month but today the birds were singing so loud at the morning and at the afternoon I saw these beautiful flowers blooming in our garden.

May the fragrance from the south winds blows upon the north soon! How wonderful to see life resurging again!

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?" (Mathew 6.26-31)

The Present Moment Is a Gift

"The life of faith is lived one day at a time, and has to be lived. Not looking forward to the 'real' life was around the next corner. We are responsible for today and tomorrow God owns." (Elisabeth Elliot)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  (Philippians 4.6)

..."See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? " (Mathew 6.28-29)
